-Less than 1/2 of 1% of Japan's 126 Million people
are Christians.
Japan is one of the most unreached of the major countries in the world. Although
Japan is a very advanced and modern nation, it remains a very lost and superstitious
culture. Most people in Japan have never even heard the gospel of Jesus
Christ. There are very few missionaries working in Japan to be instruments
of the Holy Spirit to change this.
-The Church in Japan is so small that it currently cannot
support its own pastors. It is not yet able to fulfill the Great Commission
in its own nation without outside help.
